Tokara Weingut
Aufgrund einer Empfehlung bin ich zu diesem Weingut gefahren und ich muss sagen es war eine gute Entscheidung. Das Weingut ist riesig und man kann durch die Weinberge spazieren, der Wein war gut und exklusiv und dazu einige nette Skulpturen und Olivenhain und man durfte die Oliven sowie das Öl verkosten.
Und dazu die atemberaubende Ausicht über False Bay bis hin zum Tafelberg und der Mitarbeiter erklärt einem die Sicht auch . Habe mich dort dehr gut gefühlt. Außerdem hat meinen einen Blick auf den Simonsberg da am Fuß das Weingut liegt.
Auf den 120 Hektar Anbaufläche werden vorrangig Cabernet-Sauvignon-Blanc-Reben angebaut
Das noch junge Weingut wurde von G.F. Ferreira 1994 aufgebaut und gehört heute unumstritten zu den Spitzenbetrieben Südafrikas. Seine Philosophie lautet „Good wine, good food and good art go together to make a good lifestyle“ – und so präsentiert sich Tokara als architektonisches Kleinod mit angeschlossener Kunstgalerie und erstklassigem Restaurant.
Tokara zählt zu den Top 10 Weingütern in Südafrika und wird weltweit unter de Top 50 gehandelt. Genauer gesagt ist Tokara auf Position 48 und damit noch einen Platz vor einem gewissen Château Mouton-Rothschild.
Dazu kommt, die Käseplatte war ein Traum und so gut das ich kein Foto gemacht habe da ich hungrig war :-)

I went to this winery on a recommendation and I must say it was a good decision. The winery is huge and you can walk through the vineyards, the wine was good and exclusive and there were some nice sculptures and olive groves and you were allowed to taste the olives and the oil.
And there is the breathtaking view over False Bay to Table Mountain and the staff explains the view to you. I felt very good there. I also have a view of the Simonsberg .
On the 120 hectares of cultivated land, mainly Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc vines are grown.
The still young winery was established by G.F. Ferreira in 1994 and is today undisputedly one of the top wineries in South Africa. His philosophy is "Good wine, good food and good art go together to make a good lifestyle" - and so Tokara presents itself as an architectural gem with an adjoining art gallery and first-class restaurant.
Tokara is one of the top 10 wineries in South Africa and one of the top 50 worldwide. To be precise, Tokara is in 48th position, one place ahead of a certain Château Mouton-Rothschild.
In addition, the cheese platter was a dream and so good that I didn't take a photo because I was hungry :-)
