Zwischen Tafelberg, der 12 Apostel-Bergkette, Lions Head und Atlantik liegt Camps Bay, einer der vornehmeren Vororte Kapstadts. Weiter oben am Berg liegen edle Villen, hier wurde auch die RTL-Sendung „Der Bachelor“ gedreht. Am Strand und entlang der mit Palmen gesäumten Straße treffen sich die Schönen und Reichen zum Sehen und Gesehenwerden. Hier wurden bereits Justin Bieber, Leonardo die Caprio und andere weltberühmten Stars gesichtet. In zahlreichen Clubs, Bars, Hotels und Restaurants kann man es sich gut gehen lassen und mit einem leckeren Cocktail in der Hand den Sonnenuntergang die frische Meeresluft genießen. Der weiße Sandstrand ist sowohl bei Touristen als auch den Einheimischen gleichermaßen beliebt. Die geschäftige Straße davor lädt zum Verweilen, Flanieren und Schlemmen ein. Es gibt hier auch eine gute Nightlife-Szene mit vielen trendigen Bars und Clubs, wo sich mitunter auch Hollywood-Stars und andere Promis blicken lassen. Einziger Negativpunkt: Vor Wind, der in den Sommermonaten bekanntlich ab und an Kapstadt kräftig durchpfeift, ist man am Strand ungeschützt.

Between Table Mountain, the 12 Apostles mountain range, Lions Head and the Atlantic Ocean lies Camps Bay, one of Cape Town's posh suburbs. Further up the mountain are noble villas; the RTL programme "The Bachelor" was also filmed here. On the beach and along the palm-lined street, the rich and beautiful meet to see and be seen. Justin Bieber, Leonardo Caprio and other world-famous stars have been spotted here. There are numerous clubs, bars, hotels and restaurants where you can enjoy the sunset and the fresh sea air with a delicious cocktail in your hand. The white sandy beach is popular with tourists and locals alike. The busy street in front of it invites you to linger, stroll and feast. There is also a good nightlife scene here with many trendy bars and clubs where Hollywood stars and other celebrities sometimes show up. The only negative point is that the beach is unprotected from the wind, which is known to blow through Cape Town from time to time in the summer months.
