Heute habe ich es endlich zum Leonardo Tower geschafft
The Leonardo ist ein Wolkenkratzer in Sandton, Teil der Metropolgemeinde Johannesburg, Südafrika. Das Gebäude wurde 2019 fertiggestellt. Es verfügt über 56 Etagen gemischter Nutzung, 11 Stockwerke als Büro und in den restlichen verteilen sich 200 Wohnungen. Mit 228 Metern Höhe ist es das höchste Gebäude des afrikanischen Kontinents. Es löste das 223 Meter hohe Carlton Centre in Johannesburg ab, welches den Titel beinahe 50 Jahre innehatte.

und dort ins Aurum Restaurant http://www.theleonardo.co.za/restaurants.cfm was sich auf der 7ten Etage befindet. Die Terrasse war ein Traum, schade das ich kein Schwimmzeug dabei hatte. Das Essen kann man nicht beschreiben, es war umwerfend, Preis Leistung hat gestimmt und es war nicht günstig. Habe da fast 4 Stunden verbracht, man hatte nicht das Gefühl von Hotel und Großstadt und die Aussicht war unbeschreiblich. Ganz oben gibt es noch eine andere Bar, die muss man aber im voraus buchen und das habe ich nun für Sonntag den 7.11 vor da ich dann Besuch aus Deutschland bekomme.

Today I finally made it to the Leonardo Tower.
The Leonardo is a skyscraper in Sandton, part of the metropolitan municipality of Johannesburg, South Africa. The building was completed in 2019. It has 56 floors of mixed use, 11 floors as offices and the rest spread out with 200 flats. At 228 metres high, it is the tallest building on the African continent. It replaced the 223-metre Carlton Centre in Johannesburg, which held the title for almost 50 years.

and there to the Aurum Restaurant http://www.theleonardo.co.za/restaurants.cfm which is on the 7th floor. The terrace was a dream, too bad I didn't have my swimming costum with me. I can't describe the food, it was amazing, the price was right and it wasn't cheap. I spent almost 4 hours there, it didn't feel like a hotel or a big city and the view was indescribable. There is another bar at the top, but you have to book it in advance, which I plan to do on Sunday 7 November, when I will have visitors from Germany.
