Tsitsikamma ist ein Khoi-Wort und bedeutet "Ort des reichlich vorhandenen oder sprudelnden Wassers". Die Region, die auf einem 200 m hohen Plateau liegt, erstreckt sich vom Bloukrans River im Westen bis zum Tsitsikamma River im Osten und wird im Norden durch die imposanten Tsitsikamma Mountains und im Süden durch den Indischen Ozean begrenzt.

Dann ein Stop in Knysna https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knysna : Diese Ort ist eines der bekanntesten Reiseziele an der Garden Route in Südafrika.  Berühmt für seine Austern und Seepferdchen, ist Knysna das ganze Jahr über lebendig und pulsierend.  An den Ufern einer schimmernden Lagune zwischen den Outeniqua-Bergen und dem Indischen Ozean gelegen, hat die Stadt ihren Einwohnern und Besuchern viel zu bieten. Es  ist eine künstlerische Stadt, die mehrere Jahre in Folge zur "Stadt des Jahres" des Landes gewählt wurde und sogar von Trip Advisor bei den Travellers' Choice Destination Awards 2008 als eines der 100 besten Reiseziele der Welt ausgezeichnet wurde!Das Mündungsgebiet von Knysna, das als National Lake Area bekannt ist, wird vom South African National Parks Board (SANParks) verwaltet und geschützt und ist ein biologisch reiches Gebiet, in dem über 200 Fischarten, die Stiefmütterchenmuschel und das vom Aussterben bedrohte Knysna-Seepferdchen leben.

Jahrhunderts hinein, bleibt Mossel Bay ein recht verschlafenes Hafennest mit ein paar wenigen Ferienresorts. In den Sommermonaten ist Mossel Bay zu einem der beliebtesten Ferienorte Südafrikas aufgestiegen. Mossel Bay bietet  das zweitbeste Klima der Welt nach Hawaii und liegt auf halber Strecke zwischen Kapstadt und Port Elizabeth am Beginn der Garden Route.  Mossel Bay ist einer der wenigen Orte an der Garden Route, die nicht von der N2 geteilt werden und bietet seinen Besuchern verträumte Ecken und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, besonders erwähnenswert sind die wunderschönen Sandstrände von Dana Bay und Little Brak River, die zu langen Spaziergängen einladen. Die war bei dem Strakregen und Gewitter leider nicht möglich.

Santos Express Train Lodge ist ein echter Zug, der am Santos Beach in Mossel Bay liegt und dessen Kabinen alle auf das Meer ausgerichtet sind. Mit dem Meer so nah, kann man die unglaubliche Lage und die exquisite Aussicht nicht übertreffen. Eine belebende Meeresbrise sorgt auch an wirklich heißen Tagen für Abkühlung.

It is an artistic town, voted the country's 'City of the Year' for several years in a row, and was even named one of the world's top 100 destinations by Trip Advisor in the 2008 Travellers' Choice Destination Awards!Knysna Estuary, known as the National Lake Area, is managed and protected by the South African National Parks Board (SANParks) and is a biologically rich area that is home to over 200 species of fish, the pansy mussel and the endangered Knysna seahorse. 

and evening in Moselbay https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mossel_Bay :Until the 2nd half of the 20th century, Mossel Bay remained a rather sleepy harbour nest with a few holiday resorts. During the summer months, Mossel Bay has risen to become one of South Africa's most popular holiday resorts. Mossel Bay offers the second best climate in the world after Hawaii and is located halfway between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth at the beginning of the Garden Route.  Mossel Bay is one of the few places on the Garden Route that is not divided by the N2 and offers its visitors dreamy corners and many sights, especially worth mentioning are the beautiful sandy beaches of Dana Bay and Little Brak River, which invite to long walks. Unfortunately, this was not possible due to the rain and thunderstorms.
