Pilanesberg National Park 3 Nights

Ist die größte Touristenattraktion der Nordwest-Provinz und wurde künstlich 1979 geschaffen, die einheimischen Bauern und Angehörigen des Tswana Stammes wurden aber dann vertrieben als man 6000 Tiere im Park ansiedelte.https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pilanesberg-Nationalpark

Muss sagen für mich war es der schönste und grünste Park und auch der Campingplatz war ganz toll. Aber das auch nur innerhalb der Woche denn ab Freitag kamen die Wochenendausflügler von Pretoria/Johannesburg, da der Park nur 2 Autostunden entfernt ist und da wurde es dann laut. Habe meinen Wagen dort waschen lassen und bin nach 2 Nächten weitergezogen

Diesmal habe ich die Löwen und den Gepard gesehen, Hippos ohne Ende und Nashörner, außerdem gibt es eine Menge Vögel.

Dann gibt es einige Seen und da kann man auch einige Tiere beobachten. Auch hier wieder nur nette Menschen die mir sogar eine Tüte Gemüse mitgegeben haben weil die es erstaunlich finden das man als Frau in meinem Alter sowas unternimmt und im Zelt (was für die Südafrikaner keins ist, denn die haben ganze Häuser dabei) wohnt.

I have to say that for me it was the most beautiful and greenest park and the camping site was also great. But that was only during the week, because from Friday onwards the weekenders came from Pretoria/Johannesburg, as the park is only 2 hours away by car, and it got noisy. I had my car washed there and moved on after 2 nights.

This time I saw the lions and the cheetah, hippos without end and rhinos, there are also a lot of birds.

Then there are some lakes and there you can also watch some animals. Again, only nice people who even gave me a bag of vegetables because they find it amazing that a woman of my age can do such a thing and live in a tent (which is not a tent for South Africans because they have whole houses with them).
