Woche7/Week 7

Am Sonntag war die schriftliche Prüfung für FGASA. Nicki unsere treue Seele ,die uns auch immer mit tollen Essen versorgt, lernt ganz fleißig mit mir. Vom Gefühl her, hat es gut geklappt

Diese Woche sind dann noch 125 Vögel hinzugekommen, die man am Gesang und Aussehen identifizieren muss. Na super ;-( für unmusikalische Menschen wie mich, ist das gar nichts.

Leider habe ich in der Nachprüfung nur 47% geschafft. Nun wird es kritisch :-( und die Vögel werden mir das Leben schwer machen.

Sonntag haben wir eine Bootstour geplant auf dem Mongena Damm. Ist mal eine tolle Abwechslung und vorher gehen wir was essen. im Kingfischer  https://www.mongena.co.za/restaurant-near-pretoria.

Ausserdem haben wir gelernt wie man 4x4 fährt und wie man Reifenwechselt.

Unsere Unterrichtstunde die wir mit Pines im Bush verbracht haben war auch interessant, anstelle von Vögel zu lernen hatten wir besuch von einen Rhino und saßen 45 Minuten brav auf dem Boden bis es weitergezogen ist.

Sunday was the written exam for FGASA. Nicki, our faithful soul, who always provides us with great food, is studying hard with me. From the feeling, it worked well.

This week, 125 birds were added, which have to be identified by their song and appearance. Great ;-( For non-musical people like me, that's nothing at all.

Unfortunately, I only managed 47% in the final exam. Now it's getting critical :-( and the birds will make life difficult for me.

Sunday we have planned a boat trip on the Mongena Dam. It's a great change and before that we're going to eat at Kingfischer https://www.mongena.co.za/restaurant-near-pretoria.

We also learned how to drive a 4x4 and how to change tyres.

Our lesson with Pines in the bush was also interesting, instead of learning about birds we had a visit from a rhino and sat on the ground for 45 minutes until it moved on.
